Thank you for making this app!
Its not often an app feels custom designed for me, with the exact tools I need and nothing more. This is perfect for digital artists!
Ive recorded 30+ hour art sessions in the past that ate my storage space alive! All just to make a 3-5 minute time lapse... When I started doing digital art, recording it was one of my favorite things, but I eventually gave up. Some of the other apps finally offer 1 fps capture, but even thats too much for long sessions. Then theres extra steps to speed up each clip, put them together, and eport to the speed you really wanted.
Heres a tip for Photoshop artists with a second monitor: go to window>arrange>new window for "file name". Put this 2nd window on the 2nd monitor, hit F to go fullscreen, cmd+0 to zoom to fit. Do the work on the FIRST screen. You can have all your tools and palettes there, zoom around and do the dirty work. Every time you make a mark, it will update on the second screen, which is zoomed out and remains still. Record the SECOND screen. The resulting timelapse is like watching a painting come to life before your eyes!
